The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has allocated an additional $6 million grant to the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport Terminal, which is currently under construction. This grant, which was announced on Monday, will fund a second jetway gate connected directly to the aircraft, along with a boarding area and a larger administrative office.
This additional funding brings the total cost of the terminal to approximately $90 million, with $78 million of that coming from the federal government. The new terminal is expected to open late this year or early next year, and will now include three gates instead of the originally planned one. The design of the terminal does not have to be changed due to the new grant, as it already included the potential for a second jetway gate and a larger administrative office.
